Each Tulip can be painted entirely independently if you would prefer not to paint the full design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Tulip is an exercise in sculpting light, it is also a great way to practice your fine lines for the very faint and delicate veining on each petal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI have kept the colours a little bit softer for this study because I wanted to make it a softer tulip alongside the two stronger tulips, but you can make some stronger if you want to.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn this tutorial, I show you how to mix the unusual shadow colours and how to move around the flower without overworking it. The final part of this tutorial will be to pull the three images together in a strong design, so hopefully next time you come to this project, you will see it in full completion.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDon't forget that you can paint all three of these tulips life-size.
