Don't forget that you can change the angle of the paper to work with your natural, comfortable hand position; this way, you'll have a better chance of achieving smoother edges.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePainting orchids is something you can do almost all year round, as they are very slow to change once they have flowered, giving you plenty of playtime. But they're also good practise for all those beautiful textures and patterns that you're going to need to master for those fragile, more ethereal flowers from the garden. They are a wonderful flower to help you perfect your skills.
