This tutorial is a stunning white Lily surrounded with black ink, you don’t have to add the ink but I am always thinking of new ways to create drama and new ideas on composition. What I love about this project is the beautiful crisp white petals of the Lilly and the light washes of yellows and pinks these really make it shine. You can paint the just the flower or you can add the ink, it’s up to you, either way I think it will be a wonderful project to add to your portfolio of practice pieces. If you’re a beginner just have a go at one or two of the petals and see how you get along.
