Frosted Rose Hips - Preview

Hello, lovely painters, I have a sweet little Christmas card design for you this week. I have painted some very frosty Rose Hips.

This tutorial covers masking up a design, applying fine masking fluid, laying background wash, and using body colour to define extra detail. I have also added a pretty gold edge to the painting.

At this time of the year, there's often not much time for our hobbies alongside everything else, but this project, taken in short steps, should be doable in time to gift to a loved one.

So put on some lovely festive music and see how you get on, it should be fun.
I am hoping for some frost this year and hopefully a little bit of snow, but most of all peace on Earth.
