In this project, we are really concentrating on very soft shadows to depict the white petals against the white paper. Take this project slowly and observe the very gentle changes in shade, allowing lots of time for everything to dry and perfecting as you go.
This is a really pretty flower with a very unusual centre and would be perfect for a study page of flowers. Perhaps you have some beautiful Hibiscus where you live? Could you possibly add some beautiful colourful varieties to sit alongside?
Painting white flowers is a bit of an obsession for me, and I'm hoping I can make it one for you, too.
