Large Purple Hibiscus - Preview

This week I am walking you through how to paint one enlarged petal of a beautiful lilac Hibiscus flower. I photographed this flower in Belgium a couple of years ago and plan to finish it one day ;).
Painting large petals is exciting and you can practice mixing large amounts of colour and getting the all important water glaze just right, you can also put that big wash brush into use.
