Meadow Brown Butterfly and Echinacea - Preview

Hello, lovely painters, this week's tutorial is the Meadow Brown Butterfly perched on the pink-petalled Echinacea. A sweet moment in my garden and a lovely subject to paint.

Continuing with another slightly spiky subject, you will need to be very careful painting the flower centre, but the petals are fun and simple, and the butterfly is a lovely, simple one to paint.

In this project, you will bring your colour mixing, detail, and texturing skills to the fore. Why not make a page of butterflies and enjoy their delicate structures? With summer here, these little yet divine creatures are the embodiment of fragile nature.
