This weeks project is a rose hip study, this is quite a long tutorial for such a small project but the small things often take the longest. Beginners should practice the berries over and over to get the soft shine perfected and as you improve, practice the stems until they are smooth and straight. The camera is very close on this project so the paper looks rough but it is still the same Fabriano hot pressed, also the edges will be a little fluffy at the start, this close but you can tidy them up as I do nearer the end of the painting.
