Rose Leaves - Preview

We are adding some beautiful shiny dark Rose leaves to the Rose spray composition. I love adding the leaves to the flowers as it really frames them well. I have used the leaves twice to create a pattern, it is a lovely little process that allows you to create rhythm in a composition. The colour mixes are simple and strong, but control is the key to success here, that, and lots of lovely fine detail at the end.

I have placed it in the advanced tutorials, but as always, if you desire to try then give them a go.

We will be returning to this composition to bring all the elements together with a flourish.
