Garlic Bulb - Preview

This project has us return to garlic but this time to paint the whole bulb, broken open, to reveal how the cloves grow.

The myriad of colours and layers makes this project fun and rewarding. I simply love the deep pink centre, and how it contrasts with the outer light, papery tones.

The important thing to remember here, is to make sure the veining describes the shapes and direction, and that you allow every section to thoroughly dry before painting the adjacent space. You can add it to the cloves or revisit the cloves and paint them again next to the bulb; perhaps you will see how you have improved?
