Hello lovely painting people, I know at the time of delivering this tutorial to you, you will mostly be on your holidays and may only be able to grab small moments for your painting practice.
So here is the underside of the lovely redcurrant leaf, a small but absorbing project to embrace glazing in gentle greens.
Soft cobalt washes and delicate shadows are the themes of this project, to help create the dips and shadows in between the veins. Painting this and adding just one berry sprig may put you in the mood for summer puddings, and perhaps encourage you to add more projects to your sketchbooks.
