Christmas Teddy & Sprout - Preview

This sweet little 'glass decoration bear' (I thought it was tin!) is our early Christmas card or gift painting.

I have added a sprout for him to hold and to keep with our botanical theme 🙂

In this tutorial we concentrate on textures, keeping the bear smooth and shiny and adding a dappled texture for his white brim. I have also added some decorative text but you can change that so it reads the message you want to add. It could be the name of the person receiving the painting.

It's always nice to have a bit of extra time to prepare for the festive end-of-year celebrations, even if you don't fancy painting my little bear you could choose from any of my previous Christmas tutorials or even mix and match to create an alternative combination.
