This week I show you the basic techniques for the Magnolia Soulangiana. It is a popular flower for botanical painters and I like to think that this is a good starter tutorial for those new to painting it. Enjoy practicing the sweeping in of the pink on some trial studies. We will revisit again as an open flower next year. Until then I hope you enjoy this tutorial.
