Tulip & Arum - Preview

Welcome back to this page of large, white flowers. As you can see, I left it as a whole page and decided to add two more flowers for you to try.

These are enlargements of a lemon/white tulip and a white arum. I have added a more graphic design element of deep black squares to make the flowers pop from the page. Obviously, adding the additional background treatments is up to you.

These are wonderful flowers to paint and will help you notice the range of subtle colours and shadows that go into painting white flowers. The arum is a super simple study so if you are still at the start of learning watercolour wet in wet you could jump straight to this flower and give it a go. Remember not to rush your brush and allow each process and layer to dry. You will love it, I promise.

Happy Painting
Billy x
