Iris Leaves & Stems - Preview

Hello lovely painters, this week's tutorial finished the Iris page. Here I have talked you through the way I lay out some arrangements and manipulate the leaves to help me recreate the curves and light.

I have also shown how I sketch out the design and make decisions on placement and shadows.

I love painting long blade leaves and I think you will too. It's a chance to practice those long brush sweeps and fine long parallel veins.

This is the final part of this piece and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
