Chrysanthemum Part 1 - Preview

This tutorial is in two parts because of the immensity of the task. Painting multi-petalled flowers takes a little more endurance than most projects, however, the achievement in the end is always worth it.

It a nice simple palette of colours, so there is lots of easy mixing. I have used my number 4 brush for the entire part one, so it is easy on the brush choice too.

We bring together all that we have been practising, wet in wet, wet on dry, jumping the lights, dry brushing, freestyle mark making and tea washes, phew!

I am confident this stunning flower will challenge and delight you.
