This week's project is a sweet little painting of the Grape Hyacinth. I love this little old-fashioned flower for its cheerful fresh, blue, berry-like flowers.
This is a nice project for taking things in little steps, no big scary washes, just lots of tiny areas of blue-violet. I will probably return to the study later on to perfect my grasses that fringe the base of this study but maybe you will prefer to keep it light and simple. The choice is yours.
This can be a busy time of year but do try to find a small window in order to paint these pretty flowers.
Peace and flowers
