Bowl Of Plums - Preview

Hello, this week's tutorial is a bowl of beautiful plums. The joy of this is in the repetition and the myriad of blues that we will use.

My reference photo printed out a little brighter and bluer, but I just loved the cobalt highlights.

I enjoyed adding the gold lustre, which I hope you will do too.

I aimed to keep this project to a reasonable length of time so that you will hopefully jump in and give this tutorial a go.

This project is all about clean edges and soft washes so it will be a good study for those looking to push their control of watercolour to new heights.

I am hoping this will inspire you to paint some more studies of fruits in bowls, as they make a sweet little painting.
